Tanks and containers are the lifeblood of modern infrastructure. They are used to transport everything everywhere. Many transported goods must be protected from the changing temperatures of the outside environment and this requires containers to be able to heat and refrigerate. Sometimes, it is the outside environment that must be protected from whatever is transported in the containers.
The storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals demand durable containers built with safety in mind. The transport and storage of gases put yet another set of constraints on the design of the container. Containers made to collect and transport garbage must be built to fit a truck and have a mechanism for compressing the waste. For every resource and for every type of waste a specialized container is required.
Denmark has long had a very detailed recycling system that has required a great number of specialized containers to keep different types of waste separated so as to ensure the feasibility of processing. Denmark is centrally involved in the container and shipping industry and Danish containers can be found all over the World. Denmark is also characterized by an energy system composed of many different fuels and technologies. This fact has also added to the Danish experience with many different kinds of specialized containers.
Danish companies and Denmark as a nation have accumulated many years of experience in use and development of specialized containers, always making sure that the design is adapted to the task at hand, that energy consumption is low and that the environmental impact of the container's life cycle is minimized as much as possible.
Denmark has a strong international position Surrounded by water, Danes have always taken pride in preserving it. The first wastewater plan was formulated back in 1976. The groundwater is clean and drinkable, and thorough treatment along with a mo...
