Denmark is a global hub for innovation in wind power, with several test facilities and a strong tradition for public private collaboration. The Danish wind power industry consists of more than 350 companies spanning across the entire value chain and employing more than 25,000 people in Denmark alone.

World class research is conducted in many different fields related to wind power. From materials science to aerodynamics, researchers and companies are continually seeking to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of wind power.

Denmark is also home to some of the world’s best test facilities within the wind power industry.
