Svendborg Architects ApS is a, medium-sized architectural company, established in 2007 by Johnny Svendborg, who has more than 10 years of experience from leading architectural offices in Denmark. The office has approximately 10 employees. Due to our experience and large network, we are able to set up the best possible team for each project and provide the most precise architectural counselling to all our clients. We offer architectural consultation at all levels, on all scales and budgets, and we have competencies in conceptual sketch proposals as well as regulatory compliance reviews, design, and building management.
We believe that ethics come before aesthetics and respectful, contextual understanding is not in opposition to beautiful, innovative architectural solutions.
We believe in context as the main parameter when it comes to successfully generating new architecture. The context being not only the physical surroundings of the actual building, but also understanding the means and goals of the client, the user, and the various people engaged in the building process. The "project context" is a driving force for decision making, from the initial sketches until the key is handed to the client. We use process tools that include a series of quality-ensuring parameters according to building restrictions, for example, defining common ambitions and agreeing on time and budget.
