Spæncom have developed a 1,2 metre broad TermoMax hollow core slab with 20 mm pexpipes cast into the concrete. The pipes runs under the longitudinal holes in the hollow core slab.
Through these pipes the water are circulating keeping the temperature more constant and thereby minimising the cost to cooling and heating. The pipes are working together with the concrete and the thermal mass is used to store the energy. TermoMax can be used to span up to 12 metre depending on the sensitivity of the vibrations.
