LIN-KA was founded in 1978 after the oil crises, and specializes in environment-friendly forms of energy, based on biofuels, and has developed into the development, planning and erection of fully-automatic, high-quality plants for the European market.
LIN-KA is a component-/subcontractor or turnkey contractor for plans customised to the circumstances and requirements of individual customers. Plant sizes range from 60 - 10,000kW, and are primarily based on fuel types such as straw, wood chips and wood pellets, but also other more exotic biofuels can be used.
The company's plants are designed according to an operating philosophy which has led to over 2,500 installations all over the world, within sectors such as agriculture, industry, institutions and heat generation plants.
Over thirty years of experience and know-how on the combustion of biomass make LIN-KA ENERGY A/S one of the world leaders within biofuel heating and steam plants, particularly within the utilisation of straw. In recent years, LIN-KA has opted to gain a presence on the export markets through a network of partners, helping the company to win an award as a "Gazelle Company" in Denmark in 2007. When it comes to the environment, LIN-KA ENERGY A/S helps reduce CO2 emissions each time one of its plants is set up to replace existing fossil-fuel units – the vast majority at this time.
