All Technology Relations for TwinPipe with diffusion barrier – focus on energy efficiency
Show all technology relations
TwinPipe with diffusion barrier is now available in all pipe dimensions with outer casing diameters of up to Ø 315 mm. This new feature ensures consistently high heat retention and reduces the heat loss from a TwinPipe system, maintaining its extraordinary insulation properties throughout the entire service life of the supply network.
Due to improved energy efficiency, TwinPipe systems with diffusion barrier enable you to reduce heat losses and CO2 emissions from your pipe system by around 50% - and this of course affects your operating costs directly.
The TwinPipe construction places both the flow and return pipe in the same casing and therefore the service pipes are
surrounded by more insulation foam compared to the single pipe construction. Heat loss is thus lower in TwinPipe than in single pipe systems.
District heating delivers high efficiency and minimal environmental impact. Both factors are currently very prominent on
the political agenda. LOGSTOR TwinPipe provides the highest possible energy efficiency and CO2 emissions are therefore
reduced to an absolute minimum, minimising the effects of the man-made climate crisis.
