Blades play a crucial role in wind turbines – their design is crucial to the efficient exploitation of energy from the wind. LM Glasfiber blades are currently mounted on more than one in three wind turbines throughout the world.

Enviromental benefits
LM Glasfiber’s business contributes to global CO2 reductions. The wind power produced from LM Glasfiber blades supplied in 2008 replacement for 13,4m tons of CO2 – corresponding to the yearly emissions of approximately 4,2m European citizens.

LM Glasfiber has produced and sold more than 120,000 blades since 1978, corresponding to a capacity of more than 37 GW, which every year contributes to saving the world 70 mio. tonnes CO2.

LM Glasfiber has factories in four major regions: Northern Europe, Southern Europe, North America and Asia. Our factories are located right in the most important wind energy markets. This is to make sure our customers benefit from rapid, efficient, on-time delivery
