KALOEVIG Center

KALOEVIG Center is a small and unique conference center, welcoming all sorts of meetings and seminars,  while specializing in the theory and practice of negotiation and conflict management.

In 2008 KALOEVIG Center became the first danish conference center with no emission of CO2, when a new system for geothermal as well as solar thermal energy was implemented. 3 km. of tubes extract heat form the ground, providing hot water and suitable temperatures for our guests, and combined with the use of solar thermal energy, heat is produced without any strain on nature. The small amount of electricity required to make the system function, is covered by hydroelectric power from Norway.

The turn away from oil-based energy to sources of renewable energy fits well with the notion, that in the future negotiations should be thought of as "sustainable". Thus the development of the concept "Sustainable Negotiations" - creating a physical link between theory and practice in negotiations - is at the very centre of our attention.

KALOEVIG Center is located at Kaloe Vig, north of the city of Aarhus.
