Jysk Boligudvikling is the developer of this innovative future project. The village as a concept makes it unique. It embraces all aspects of environmental, social and financial sustainability, combined with innovative architecture and green urban planning. The unique location, close to the city center and 10.000 new jobs, but still situated in the beautiful nature, creates a perfect synergy, and the financial foundation for the project.

New innovative smart grid infrastructure
The village combines low-energy construction and CO2 neutrality with the creation of a new innovative energy infrastructure. This infrastructure allows a controlled flow of heat, electricity and water within the individual households. The village has a self-sufficient energy production, based on a variety of proven renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar, hydro and geothermal heating.

The village is rethinking the development of urban spaces with emphasis on values such as a warm atmosphere and respect for nature. This creates a village for everybody and a place where health and wellbeing are a naturalpart of life.
