New life to an old Hotel

Vilnius, Lithuania: The freshly renovated 22-story Reval Hotel Lietuva is situated on the bank of the River Neris in the centre of Vilnius, only a 10-minute walk from the medieval old town. When the hotel management decided to renovate the hotel, Grundfos was the natural choice as overall pump supplier.

As a high-class hotel with multiple uses the Reval Hotel required a complex infrastructure featuring highly durable, high-performance products – with maximum reliability and a minimum of service and maintenance needs. So the hotel management decided to renovate with first-class materials and products.
 

To help plan a successful renovation, Grundfos was selected as expert product supplier. Besides the simple need for change, the motivation was practical. Away with puddles in the basement and water-stains on the ceiling.

In the heating installation of the building a range of LP pumps were installed as well as Hydro 2000 booster units. The installation furthermore included Grundfos In-line pumps, a range of pumps that provided the hotel with a dramatic reduction in the total life cycle costs of their installations. Furthermore it meant lower energy costs, lower maintenance and service costs, and higher reliability. Grundfos supplied all pumps for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and hot/cold water.

The maintenance staff of the Reval Hotel is provided with a reliable and efficient system. At the same time the hotel enjoys an economically agreeable, environmentally-friendly and dependable pump system,all to the advantage of hotel guest.
