When children are playing and having fun they sometimes fall and get hurt. If it happens on a playground with Genan rubber granulate, injuries will be much less compared to more hard surfaces like gravel or asphalt.

To make playgrounds as safe as possible, EU has issued standards for the elasticity of the surface that public playgrounds have to comply with EN 1176 and EN 1177.

A playground made from rubber granulate is more healthy for the children compared to sand, gravel or wooden chips. It is easier to clean and you avoid problems like left behind needles, broken glass and faeces from cats and dogs.

Playgrounds are often made in-situ. Rubber granulate is mixed with polyurethane and the playground or the track is built on the spot. There are many examples of playgrounds in exciting shapes, designs and colours.

Alternatively, playgrounds can also be made by prefab tiles produced by the rubber industry on basis of rubber granulate.

Medium - Medium is high quality rubber granulate with a mix of particle sizes between 1.4 and 3 mm.

Coarse - Coarse is high quality rubber granulate with a mix of particle sizes between 2 and 4 mm.
