The company’s primary goal is to mediate and advise professional investors on investments in wind farm projects in Europe. So far we have focused on the German and French markets, but we are currently working on the expansion of our activities in Italy, Spain and Poland, where the potential with regard to wind turbines is big. Moreover we see a promising development within photovoltaic (solar) technology, which is therefore another of our fields of activity.
FarWind Energy has been the mediator of 191 wind turbines and a rated 309,5 MW, thus corresponding CO₂ emission savings of 555.000 tons per year¹ or the annual CO₂ emission of 55.000 Danes.
Investing in wind turbines means taking certain aspects into consideration amongst others the wind conditions, feed-in-tariff, bit price and other start-up costs. Furthermore financial and tax requirements, running expenses, maintenance and the wind turbine’s expected product life should be taken into consideration.
This strategy ensures the best basis for a profitable future business and for a good investment with a fairly sure cash-flow for a period of 15-25 years. Far-Wind Energy advises on the projects and prepares project analyses with calculations based on the actual production. In this way the investor can assess the advantages and downsides of the project.
