Zealand Business Development

Zealand Business Development is a Regional Development Agency charged with improving the economy and business environment in the central part of Zealand comprising the municipalities of Roskilde, Ringsted and Lejre.
 

With funding from collective members and municipalities, we support existing and new businesses in achieving high and stable levels of economic growth and jobs, utilising the full potential of local competences and cultural assets.

Zealand Business Development offers advice concerning district plans, location, investment opportunities and corporate real estate. We counsel local entrepreneurs, existing and new businesses and facilitate business related networks, seminars, workshops and courses.

Zealand Business Development is Lead Benificiary on a number of projects involving businesses all over the region. Topics include innovation, sustainable business development, EU funding for SMEs and our present main project Zero Carbon Network – focusing on climate in business.
Project partners and participants include other regional development agencies, organisations, municipalities and enterprises, regional universities and institutions of education, research and development and similar international organisations.

We work to create a sustainable community that attracts and retains business, people and jobs.
