Studying the effects of solid biofuel in connection with the electricity system

The project aims at studying and understanding the effects and potentials of using new technology for solid biofuel and waste upgrading to achieve more efficient integration into the existing electricity system. The technology used is mild thermal pre-treatment known as torrefaction with considerable chemical and physical effect on biomass.
