Developing cost-efficient high-temperature electrolysis based on Solid Oxide Electrolysis cells (SOEC)
Funded project: ForskEL
his project aims at developing cost-efficient high-temperature electrolysis based on Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cells (SOEC). This technology is based on materials used for SOFCs, and the project may benefit from the many years of research available in the area. SOEC electrolysis is special since in addition to water, it also consumes CO2 and outputs synthesis gas.
