Calculation of Extreme Wind Atlases Using Mesoscale Modeling

The objective is to develop better extreme wind condition wind atlases usable for wind turbine manufacturers and for locating wind turbines. The key method of the project uses mesoscale modelling to determine extreme winds and import data into the WAsP software.
