Wave Star Energy, C5, 500 kW demonstrator for the North Sea

Design and construction of a 500 KW wave power unit

Funded Project: EUDP

Wave Star designs and builds a 500 kW wave power unit, first to be tested in the vicinity of the company’s development centre at Hanstholm and then, subject to satisfactory test operation, moved to a location at the offshore wind farm Horns Rev II, where it will run unmanned day and night in preparation for commercial batch production.
