Second-generation alkaline electrolysis

Second-generation alkaline electrolysis

Solution type: in Development phase

Hydrogen production and electrode manufacture research

Funded Project: EUDP

A second-generation electrolysis unit for hydrogen production will be developed on the basis of alkaline technology through research in electrodes manufactured by electro technique, plasma injection and ceramic technology. The stack architecture will be improved, a modular design will pave the way for upscaling and the technology will be demonstrated at H2College in Herning, Denmark.
