Development of semiconductors to lower production costs
Funded project: DSCR
Photo-electro-chemical splitting of water on semiconductor surfaces is a promising, sustainable technology for hydrogen production. However, today’s methods are still comparatively inefficient and production costs therefore high. The project will centre on developing new, more efficient semiconductors that will lower production costs.
