High-temperature proton and mixed conductors for use in fuel cells and H2

Solution type: in Development phase

Development of proton-conducting and mixed proton-electron conducting materials

Funded project: DSCR

The project develops proton-conducting and mixed proton-electron conducting materials stable in atmospheres containing CO2. The materials will be used in future energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly technologies based on hydrogen, primarily fuel cell, electrolysis and gas-separation technologies. The materials can also be used for CO2 capture.
