EnOpSol expertise lies in the area of energy optimization of cooling and heating systems.

We are the leading suppliers, in Denmark, of ATES (Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage) and goundwater cooling plants, in which the groundwater is used as an indirect cooling and heating media and the corresponding sand or limestone aquifers as a seasonal store of heat and cold. These systems achieve up to 90% energy savings of cooling compared to equivalent traditional systems, where compressors are used for cooling production and more than 50% energy savings on heat production by the use of heat pumps, when burning of fossil fuels are the alternative heating method. Additionally, the ATES systems in cooling mode operate virtually soundless and with markedly reduced CO₂ emissions.
