Danish Technological Institute

The Danish Technological Institute develops, applies and disseminates knowledge in the field of research and technology and participates in national and international development projects in close collaboration with research and development establishments and universities. It also carries out consultancy services, training and certification.

The Danish Technological Institute has built a unique and flexible development and demonstration platform which is located on the premises in Taastrup. EnergyFlexHouse comprises two buildings and will work with technology and new thinking in areas of intelligent building design, control and intelligence, installations and equipment, utility suply, individual production of heat and electricity, renewable energy and accumulation of heat and electricity.

EnergyFlexHouse is a unique innovation platform for companies, where energy-efficient products are developed, documented and demonstrated under realistic conditions. EnergyFlexHouse is the dynamic framework for the innovation process – straight from idea development, design and product maturing to market penetration.
