As the biggest service provider within the Danish private forestry sector, Danish Forestry Extension has since 1904 worked with climate issues and bio energy. For the last decade our activities has moved beyond the Danish borders as well.

Our service provision is based on a broad range of competencies amongst our employees ensuring optimal solutions for our clients. Gradually climate issues have become a constituent part of our work.

Our aim is to utilize forests and forest resources as a sustainable and efficient means to mitigate the impact of climate change. Within the forestry sector we provide consultancy service with focus on:

• Wood chip and biomass supply planning
• Logistical management and supervision in connection with sustainable delivery of biomass resources
• Provision of software to handle biomass logistics

• Adaptation measures in relation to responsible natural resource management
• Negotiation with involved parties and facilitation and processing of Letter of Intent (LOI) and Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA)
• Preparation of Project Idea Notes (PIN), Baseline methodologies and Project Design Documents (PDD)
• Investment prospects and marketing of Certified Emission Reductions (CER)
