EnSave® is implementing utility management processes and tools. The impact is typically a 10% reduction of total utility cost but it can be even up to 25% achieved with a payback period of 2-3 years. CO2 emissions are reduced by 2,500 tonnes p.a. or more. The concept is based on best practices from a wide range of industries, primarily in the food and beverage segment.

The EnSave® concept can be explained by three main components: People, Systems, and Technology.
People:
The focus on people includes change management processes and awareness training. By challenging current utility behaviour and delegating ownership and know-how to the employees, people are typically the source of 50% of the savings achieved in utility saving projects.
Systems:
To manage utilities you need true and validated measurements of utility consumption and performance. Our utility management system is a tool to focus and prioritise the efforts to increase the results. It includes implementation of software to control utilities, materials and waste.
Technology:
Installations are made to upgrade and increase plant efficiency. Examples of retrofitting include optimisation of air compressors, cooling towers, and waste water plants, upgrades on pasteurisers and HVAC, etc. to mention a few. Our solutions are based on a know-how database with more than 500 initiatives covering retrofit equipment guides.
