Bright Green City China

The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) is working together with a consortium of Danish companies and Chinese partners to establish show-case facilities for Danish competencies within energy and environment technology in China. The project will consist of a number of concrete showcase projects, e.g. a combined heat and power plant, energy efficient flats etc. Apart from each of those projects, an overall umbrella organisation is established for showcasing and knowledge sharing.

The show-case “Bright Green City China” will be:

• A number of projects established in a Chinese city or town showcasing Danish technologies and competencies improving energy efficiency and environment in a Chinese context.
   
• The concept is tied together as one unit by a project office which is base for the generation and sharing of knowledge on best Chinese practices within energy and environment.
   
• Open to various technologies and projects in different scales. It is expected that the project should both have large and small scale projects. Each project will be defined as a separate economic unit with separate, predominantly local, financing.

In addition to the concrete facilities DI will establish a mobile exhibition of the Bright Green City Concept which will be accompanied with a roadshow around China.
