3P Technology - Geothermal Energy

Together with the Copenhagen district heating supply and DONG Energy, 3P Technology has performed the complete electrical design and installation including software application and commissioning for the geothermal plant in Copenhagen. The plant generates approximately 380 TJ of environmentally-friendly and inexpensive heat annually from the underground.
The project for 3P Technology included the following:
- Electrical design of the Plant
- Electrical and process installation of the Plant
- Switchboard delivery
- Design and control strategy
- Implementation and programming of the PLC and SCADA systems

According to the technical specification for the project, 3P Technology has delivered:
- 3 switchboards
- 20 frequency converters
- 1100 PLC I/O
- 3 operator stations
- 3 Web clients
- 2 redundant SCADA servers
