Gunfleet Sands Offshore

The fabrication of offshore monopile substations for Gunfleet Sands, is the largest offshore substation fabricated at Bladt Industries A/S. The installation was carried out in 2008 off the coast of Clacton-on-Sea in Great Britain, and will gather electricity form 30x3.6 MW windmills. The electricity will be transported from the wind turbines through 33 kV sea cables, and the sea cable to shore is a 132 kV cable.
