Yunnan streetlight control

The AmpLight streetlight management solution was installed in Yunnan province in June 2007, and is thereby the longest-running AmpLight installation in China.

With energy savings of 33.5%, it is also one of Amplex' most succesful projects in China, in the high end of our typical range of 25-35%. The savings percentage depends on a variety of issues, the primary being the type of bulbs.

A total of 1,136 streetlights are controlled by the AmpLight system in Yunnan. The savings stem from daily operations alone, savings on maintenance and infrastructure aspects are additional.

With the AmpLight energy saving equipment, streetlight energy levels are decreased during off-peak traffic hours.

In addition, streetlights are turned on and off at the exact right times, ensuring that no streetlights are left on for too long or burn throughout the day.
