State of Green Inspires Nanjing

On September 5th China World Historical and Cultural Cities Expo opened in Nanjing. The mayors and representatives of 51 cities from 16 countries and regions, as well as domestic and foreign guests attended the expo - sharing experiences in innovation and creativity, cultural inheritance preservation and promotion, development of cultural industry and urban management amongst other topics.

State of Green in Nanjing

Executive Director of State of Green, Finn Mortensen shared some of Denmark's green competences and solutions to the decision makers and inspired them to look towards Denmark for partnerships through State of Green’s Chinese webportal.

Mr Mortensen also met with Mr Jin Zhengquan, Executive Vice Director of Nanjing’s Chi-lin Innovation Park to discuss possible cooperation and gave examples of Denmark’s and Copenhagen’s green solutions, and extended an invitation to Mr. Jin to visit Denmark on a State of Green tour.

The 5th World Historical and Cultural Cities Exposition is sponsored by the Chinese Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, State Administration of Cultural Heritage and Chinese National Commission for UNESCO, organized by Nanjing Municipal People’s Government, Jiangsu Provincial Culture Department and Jiangsu Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Department and supported by UNESCO Beijing Office.
