Helping cities face challenges of the future

IBM’s Smarter Cities Challenge was launched in 2010 to help 100 cities over a three-year period address some of the critical challenges facing cities. This is done by having IBM experts from different business units and geographies put on the ground for three weeks to work closely with city leaders and deliver recommendations to central issues identified by the city.
