This morning, the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF) was launched in central Copenhagen. The Forum was opened by HRH the Crown Prince of Denmark and the Danish Prime Minister, Ms. Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon delivered the keynote address at the forum, where he talked about the role of the UN in creating a green economy. The 3GF will continue throughout the day working in strategy and panel sessions, ending the day in a plenary debate about national action on green growth.

Tonight, the Danish Prime Minister will be hosting a dinner at The National Gallery of Art for the conference participants.
