2011: A Good Year for Danish Cleantech

The conclusions are from Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster's newly released Monitor 2011. The report is an annual benchmark survey among 610 companies situated in Copenhagen's Capital Region and Region Zealand.

Other conclusions include:

- 51% of the respondents have increased their cleantech based turnover. About half of these indicate that the increase has been significant

- 37% say the turnover is the same while the turnover has decreased in 9% of the responding companies

- 17% of the companies have obtained a patent in the last year

- 12% of the responding companies have established spin offs within the last year.
