The Confederation of Danish Industry is the leading business and employers'  association in Denmark within the manufacturing, trade and service industry. The Confederation of Danish Industry continously works to improve the conditions of Danish business and technology.

Danish companies are among the world leaders in developing and commercialising new energy-efficient and renewable energy technologies, and for many years Denmark has been focusing on new ways of reducing energy consumption, CO2 emissions and other kinds of emissions. This has been done without compromising economic development and the welfare of the Danish population.

Danish exports of energy technology have tripled over the past 10 years, outperforming most other Danish export sectors.

We believe that tackling the climate change challenge is a pro-growth strategy and that it is possible to build a society that at the same time is dynamic, prosperous and fair without harming the climate. Danish society is one that relies on new technologies and improved design to achieve gains in ecological sustainability and at the same time increase economic prosperity.
